All About Destination Weddings

Destination weddings - the perfect mix of holiday and celebration. I absolutely love to travel, so to combine this with wedding photography is just *chefs kiss*. Whether your dream day features watching the sunset over the Tuscan hills, hiking to say your vows at the top of an Irish hill in sideways rain or running through the streets of New York, I want to document every second.

And most importantly, living by my motto:

Smiling in the photo, not for the photo.

Like what you see?

So, how does

this all work..?

Once you’ve checked my pricing fits with your budget and enquired, and I have hopefully confirmed that I’m available on your wedding date, we’ll book in a Zoom call together. We can learn all about each other, you can tell me about your exciting plans so far, we can chat about your expectations when it comes to photography, you can laugh (okay, fake a laugh!) at my jokes… really, I want to ensure all my couples get to know me before they book. Unlike some of your other wedding suppliers, I’m going to be hanging out with you guys, on a pretty big day in your life, morning, noon and night. You’ve not only got to trust me, you’ve got to like me too!

Once you’ve made a decision and the deposit is with me, your date is secured in my diary! 🎉

Expect a questionnaire for all the nitty gritty details, one last catch up call and then BOOM… before you know it, it’s wedding day!!

I’ll be saving you some wedmin by booking my own travel and accommodation, the cost of which is included in your overall fee.

Expect me to be around for at least three days…

For destination weddings, expect me to arrive at least the day before your wedding. This allows for any dreaded delays or cancellations and also means I’ll be available to capture a welcome party, should you be having one. Alternatively (or additionally!), we could use the time for an engagement session for the two of you, exploring the area and getting you used to being in front of the camera.

On the day, expect to find me mingling with your guests, laughing at your dads jokes, and really, getting in on the action - that’s where all the good stuff happens. My style documentary for the vast majority, capturing the unique story of your day, however it unfolds, until you can’t dance any longer.

The next day, while you’re hopefully recovering after a bloody good wedding, I’ll be making my way back home to start working on your gallery. Previews will be with you within one week of your wedding and full galleries are delivered 10-12 weeks post wedding, all digitally via email.
