Backyard Wedding, Lincolnshire - Erin & Pascal
Since this sunny weather is giving us a shock to our system, I’m throwing it back on today’s blog to a beautiful wedding when using the word heatwave was an understatement. Erin & Pascal got married in their home of Switzerland, but came back to Erins family home in Lincolnshire for a church blessing and a backyard garden reception.
This was one of the most relaxed and fun weddings I’ve ever done, seriously. Even though the weather was not on our side (come on, you’d be happy about spending the day in a tux in 40 degrees?), guests were coming from across the world and the wedding reception was set up in the back garden of the family home, with mother of the bride having made the wedding cake and plenty of other bakes herself, you might say that the Beebe family had plenty to stress about.
Amazingly, you wouldn’t have known it. The couple, and their families were so relaxed, stress free and I hugely believe that this was a contributor to how incredible the vibe was on their wedding day. Humans mirror other peoples emotions. Starting off with a couple being stress free and in a great mood leads to a chain reaction through the wedding party and then through guests, filtering that good energy.
This is how we got cheers and impromptu dancing when they were announced in for speeches.
This is how we got the best candid photos to capture the day.
This is how we got the dancefloor FULL.
Let Erin & Pascal be a lesson to you not to sweat it (literally!) when the day isn’t exactly as you imagined in your head and that it really is all about the vibe you put out there to be mirrored by everyone else.
So safe to say, it was not difficult to get some viby candid wedding photos for them!!
