Katie & Luke: Donnington Park Farmhouse

Two words to describe Katie & Luke’s wedding... floral HEAVEN. Even more impressive that Katie arew many of her own flowers herself over the months leading up to the wedding, with a bit of help from Hollybrook Flower Farm.

Big on sustainability, the environmentally conscious Donington Park Farmhouse was a clear choice to host their day.

Planning a wedding?

The Morning

Katie and her bridal crew set up hair and makeup camp in one of the downstairs reception rooms, before bridesmaids retreated to their hotel room to change - a mint green dress for each of them, in every style, fabric and shape you can imagine. Joining Katie in the bridal suite for final touches and the dress reveal while Luke was meeting, greeting and beer drinking in the main bar.

The Ceremony

Florals filled the charming brick and wood timber ceremony space. This rustic barn is definitely not short on space with tall ceilings and a long aisle. The elevated stage for the ceremony gives all your guests a perfect view.

The Reception: Donington Park Farmhouse

Of course, even more flowers adorned the original Pig Sties of the barn, oh so appropriately now used for your wedding breakfast! This area makes for intimate tables, with an open plan, social feel.

The Couple Photos

Donington Park Farmhouse hosts such a plethora of opportunities when it comes to couple shots, we talk a huge walk around the grounds, using the field across the road, and discovering backdrops of wood, brick, greenery and metal.

The Dancing

Katie and Luke promised wild, and boy did they deliver!! So much energy from the 2 piece band, the couple and the guests!!
