Colourful tipi wedding inspiration, Cuttle Brook, Swarkestone in Derbyshire
I loved working on this styled shoot with Derbyshire based tipi wedding venue, Sami Tipi. We had a whole team of amazing suppliers along with us to create this epic, colourful tipi wedding!
Wedding stylist, Tara Knott alongside wedding and events florist Moss Floral Artistry, created the most bright and colourful table decor I have ever seen. I love incorporating colour into weddings! I think often, couples are afraid of going bold in fear of their wedding photos dating and stay nearer to green and white. Let me tell you now, most things date!
Finishing off with disco balls, this had such a fun vibe.

Side note: it actually threw it down while we were almost finished setting up inside the tipi - despite dramatic rain on the roof (if roof is correct??) we stayed bone dry inside. It was also October, so no, not the dead of winter but we were plenty cosy enough. I imagine with a guest list of around 50, you’d feel warm in there! So definitely not to be shunned for spring or autumn weddings. In fact, I have heard of some heat wave horror stories in tipis, so I’d argue they’re even more suitable for out of peak season!
