At Home Derbyshire Newborn Photography

It’s always such a compliment and a privilege when I get to capture so many moments in your lives. I photographed Molly & Bens engagement photos, wedding and I was so happy to hear from them when they contacted me looking for natural, documentary style photos of their new baby boy! Babies grow SO quickly, if you’re a parent, you will know! So it’s really nice to capture while they’re still in the teeny tiny newborn stage.

Newborn photography sessions always take place at the parents home, in your own environment, surrounded by all your new baby gifts & cards, with anything you might need within easy reach!

Like all my family sessions, we hang out together for less than an hour, doing anything you need to do and perhaps moving around a couple of spaces in the house, swapping between parents, grandparents and siblings if they’re around as well as making sure I capture some of baby on their own, and always including little details like fingers and toes! Keeping the session low pressure and relaxed is such a priority after you’ve had a newborn.
