Grangefields Wedding, Derbyshire - Jess & Chris
GRANGEFIELDS, DERBYSHIRE - what a place. I’ve said it before, Cripps & Co certainly know what they’re doing when it comes to creating exclusive wedding venues. Down a long, private road, close to Nottingham and Sheffield, with stunning views of the Derbyshire countryside you’ll find Grangefields barn, a venue with all the charm and character of its sister venues. Featuring open brick, high ceilings and church candles and an open kitchen allowing guests to view their food being cooked - dinner and a show!!
Jess and Chris found me through social media, and loved my natural, documentary style of photography feeling it fit with their personalities. They also opted for an engagement shoot with me, which we took to the Peak District for a stroll across the hills (which you can check out here).
Jess and Chris did not miss a single beat when it came to details! Designing all their own wedding stationary, even making their own logo, their day was jam packed full of personal touches and fun details, including a Sip & Solve, a crossword board for guests to fill in with questions around their life, a Capture This on the back of the menus, Guest Bingo (ie find a guest who is left handed, find a guest who once owned a moped, find a guest who lived in Italy), a QR code on every seat which detailed the order of the day when scanned, the wedding logo printed on rice paper and attached to the Prosecco for speeches… a mind blowing amount of detail!
