Best of 2023…
We’re reaching the end of January 2024 and I was determined to get this blog post out if I did nothing else this month!!
2023 really felt like my first full year in business. You kept me busy with weddings from January to December and I’m so grateful to you all for trusting me so that I can call this my job.
I’ve been up and down the country to capture your days, through the wet summer and the boiling hot autumn, to Ireland, Wales, Norfolk, the Cotswolds, Lincolnshire and more often not veering too far from the rolling hills of Derbyshire. We’ve had sword exits, theatre ceremonies, taking a London double decker through Nottingham City Centre and getting married in a quarry just long enough for the rain to hold off. And more couples being thrust on the shoulders of boisterous guests on the dance floor… that’s when you know it’s REALLY getting good.
Whatever I’ve been doing so far, I’m so glad it’s resonating and the couples that want to do their day their way are finding me. The non-traditional, the relaxed, the whatever-happens-happens couples who want their photography to reflect that value. The more weddings I go to, the more strongly I feel about this.
If you got married in 2023 and I had the privilege of being chosen to capture your day, there’s very little else to say than a huge, great big THANK YOU!!!!
There’s a good 106 images I’ve managed to whittle it down to! Grab your snack/beverage of choice and behold, some of my favourite images of 2023…
